Built in SolidWorks

See it in 3D: a steel deck, modeled in SolidWorks

Drag to rotate. Click the model, then scroll or pinch to zoom. Every post, rail, footing and piece of anchor hardware is modeled, so the drawings come from a model that fits together.

How it works

From your sketch to a finished set, from anywhere

  1. Send your project

Sketches, photos, PDFs, markups or CAD files, from anywhere in the U.S. Use the quote form, email or a Google Drive or Dropbox link.

  2. Quote and scope

I look it over, ask the questions that matter and send a clear flat-rate or hourly quote, so you know the scope before any work starts.

  3. Drafting and 3D model

I build the model and drawings, then send them for your review. You mark up what needs to change and I revise.

  4. Final set delivered

You get the finished set as PDF, plus fabrication-ready exports like STEP, DXF or DWG when the job calls for them. Permit sets come ready to submit.

Meet Tony Kunkle

I grew up in Camp Grisdale, the last existing logging camp in Washington State, about 50 miles east of Aberdeen in the Olympic National Forest, and graduated from Wishkah High School just outside Aberdeen.

After high school I served four years in the US Navy aboard the USS Enterprise. Straight out of the military I joined the Sheet Metal Union, completed my apprenticeship through the JATC of Western Washington, and worked on large-scale commercial projects around the state.

From there I went to college and earned two AAS degrees, the primary one in design graphics with a mechanical emphasis. I went on to design custom light fixtures for hotels, casinos and malls, then spent years as a CAD consultant in California supporting project managers at food processing plants, wineries, manufacturers and more.

Today I'm back home in Washington, running TK Drafting Solutions out of Kelso as a Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional.
